Young Rembrandts Pre-school drawing classes

Each week we’ll draw something these little ones are interested in, from fish to teddy bears, rainbows to cowboys. Student s will learn about the subject matter as we learn to draw it together. We’ll concentrate on the skills of drawing and coloring, but also work on developing fine motor skills, focus, listening, staying on task, spatial organization and patience.  All materials are provided. Cheerleading

Learn cheers, chants and pom routines. Team U.S.A Cheer is a fun and exciting cheerleading program for children. This class promotes coordination, confidence and physical fitness. Awards will be given for perfect attendance and good grades in school. This class will teach the basic skills required for middle and high school tryouts. Registration will be held on Saturday September 6^th. Registration time is the same for your child’s class time, there is a $5.00 registration fee. This is a 12 week class, no classes on November 29^th.

Children’s Self-Defense

This class is design for self-defense purposes and will not teach “bullying tactics”. Each lesson is taught by a certified black belt instructor. Various basic self-defense/karate techniques and forms will be taught. NO physical contact will be allowed in the beginning class. Students completing the course with perfect attendance will receive a Karate medal.  Registration is September 6^th at the same time as your child’s class time. There is a $5.00 registration fee. This is a 12 week class, no classes on November 29^th.

Dance Improvisation

Movement material is created from a variety of exercises that allow for exploration. These exercises provide for a stronger sense of how the body moves. Improvisation focuses on the investigation of movement and it’s relation to performance. Class will consist of fun activities that allow the student to create their own movement, and then they will perform for each other to showcase what they have created.
